The Raising of Lazarus

This week's questions for reflections are:

Where do you need resurrection in your life?

Where are the places that it's hard to believe Jesus can show up with new life?

Where do you see resurrection happening now in our world?

I look forward to hearing from you!

  1. Chris--It's been a long time since I have had the pleasure of hearing your sermons. You have come a long way from your days at SPLC in Stillwater! Solid message delivered with passion and conviction. SOTV is blessed to have your talents!

I spend a fair amount of windshield time driving around the midwest to visit my farmer customers. Your questions will provide fodder for my "God on overdrive" contemplations today as I drive down to and back from Des Moines.

    Thanks for sharing!

  2. The Raising of Lazarus: It seems to me that part of this story gives the message that God shows up even when I think it is "too late" for anything else to be done... that there is hope when there is no semblance of hope to be seen from my human perspective!

  3. "Stinky Locker"

Loved the visual. Very effective. I was moved greatly by this message. This week I have felt more hopeful about cleansing the stinky areas in my life. I asked the Lord to resurrect those areas and already I feel renewed. So, important to be reminded of his healing presence in our modern day life. Your passion for this topic was ever present. Thank you.
